As a Mechanical Workshop Lead, you’ll be responsible for delivering rapid mechanical prototyping services to a diverse set of clients in Signify Innovation and Businesses.

**What you’ll do**:

- Maintain the mechanical workshop end to end and supervise the technical assistant mechanical
- Design and make parts and build prototypes in close cooperation with Research and Development engineers.
- Perform hands-on work with mechanical tools and equipment to enable rapid prototyping of models, mock-ups, tooling, etc
- Work with external suppliers in case we need capabilities or capacity that we do not have in-house

Your qualifications
- Relevant work experience in maintaining and managing a mechanical workshop
- Experience in leading others
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in Mechanical domain (Milling, Turning, Drilling, Welding, Cutting, sheet metal processing both CNC as well as conventional experience required)
- MTS Degree (Precision)Mechanics or equivalent
- English language is required, Dutch language (or willingness to learn) is nice to have.
- Team player with organizational and social skills;
- Experience with CAD mechanical software packages (e.g. Autocad Inventor, SolidWorks, 4G)
