Marketing Manager
Location: Amersfoort, Netherlands
Reports To: Vice President of Test & Measurement Yokogawa Global Sales and Marketing
As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:
Strategic Marketing Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and plans tailored to the European market.
- Align marketing initiatives with the company’s overall business objectives and growth goals.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities and threats.
Brand Management:
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels.
- Enhance brand visibility and reputation in the European market through targeted campaigns and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the global marketing team to maintain brand consistency.
Lead Generation and Demand Generation:
- Develop and execute lead generation campaigns to drive sales and business growth.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of lead generation activities and adjust strategies as needed.
Content Creation and Management:
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content for various marketing channels, including website, blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and social media.
- Ensure content is relevant, informative, and aligned with customer needs and industry trends.
- Manage external agencies and vendors for content production as necessary.
Events and Trade Shows:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute participation in industry trade shows, conferences, and events.
- Develop event strategies to maximize brand exposure and lead generation.
- Evaluate the success of events and implement improvements for future participation.
Digital Marketing:
- Lead digital marketing efforts, including website management, online advertising, and social media marketing.
- Optimize the company’s online presence to increase traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends and tools to implement best practices.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team across Europe
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the European Marketing budget.
- Allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI on marketing activities.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with sales, customer support, global product management, and other departments to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Communicate marketing plans, strategies, and results to senior management and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry influencers, partners, and customers as well as European Press.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field / And/or Degree in Electronics / Electromaechanical Engineering.
- Experience of selling with the T&M industry or technical related industry would be beneficial but not a must.
- Experience in the Test & Measurement industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and demand generation techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and resources effectively.
- Willingness to travel as needed within Europe and internationally.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
