- Team Leader and Business Developer - Heavy Equipment
- As a Team leader you will be in charge of our largest customer and be responsible for leading our Heavy Equipment Team to achieve and exceed sales targets, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, and fostering strong relationships with customers.
- As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing growth strategies to expand our company's market presence and drive revenue. You will play a crucial role in fostering partnerships, securing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, business acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively navigate the competitive landscape and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Responsibilities:
- Sales revenue
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals through effective coaching, training, and performance management.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth.
- Analyze competitors' strategies, pricing, and product offerings to develop competitive insights.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Business Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans aligned with company objectives.
- Identify target markets, industries, and customer segments to prioritize outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development
- Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and recommending solutions that add value.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals and partnerships.
- Proposal Development:
- Prepare persuasive proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and offerings that meet client requirements.
- Follow up with clients to address any concerns, objections, or questions throughout the sales process.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, including sales targets, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on business development activities, successes, and challenges.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous growth.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
