- Supervision: Supervise PhD students and post-docs.

**Your profile**:
**Key Qualifications**
- Expertise: You are an expert in the field of mass spectrometry-based proteomics.
- Experience and Familiarity: You have several years of experience working with mass spectrometry and proteome analyses, including sample processing and downstream data analysis pipelines.
- Ambition and Contribution: You are driven to contribute to frontier Neuroscience research.
- Track Record: Your proven track record includes publishing and grant acquisition in the field of Neuroproteomics.
- Research Independence: You can formulate your own research questions and design experiments using proteomics approaches.

**Advantageous Experience**
- Specialized Fields: Experience in one or more of the following areas is advantageous:

- Interaction proteomics
- Identification of posttranslational modifications
- Crosslinking and/or proximity labeling
- Spatial proteomics
- Synaptic Proteome Interest: You have a strong interest in investigating and understanding the synaptic proteome, a key research area within the MCN lab.

**What do we offer?**:

- a salary of minimum € 4.332,00 (Scale 11) and maximum € 5.929,00 (Scale 11) gross per month, on a full-time basis. This is based on UFO profile Lecturer / Asisstant Professor 2. The exact salary depends on your education and experience.
- This is a career track position; the initial appointment will be for a period of 1.5 years, which will be turned into a tenured position after the initial period, if the performance indicators agreed at the start of the appointment are met.

We also offer you attractive fringe benefits and regulations. Some examples:

- A full-time 38-hour working week comes with a holiday leave entitlement of 232 hours per year. If you choose to work 40 hours, you have 96 extra holiday leave hours on an annual basis. For part-timers, this is calculated pro rata.
