We are looking for a pro-active HR Document Controller.

**A unique maritime adventure**:
As an HR Document Controller and Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing all HR documentation throughout the employee lifecycle at Heerema. Utilizing platforms such as our Learning Management System (LMS), Digital Personnel File (DPF) and others, you'll ensure that every piece of documentation—from onboarding and training certifications to employee correspondence—is handled with precision and care. Initially, you will work alongside a team of enthusiastic HR Document Control and HR support colleagues.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with HR colleagues focused on Training and the HR Service Desk, as well as departments like Operations and Equipment and external training providers. Together, we ensure that both our onshore and offshore staff are fully compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, you'll be instrumental in preparing for and implementing a new HR system aimed at enhancing employee self-service capabilities.

**What you will be working on**:
In your daily work, you will take on several important responsibilities that are key to our HR operations:

- ** Document Management**: Collect, verify, and process HR documents and certificates from institutions, colleagues, and vessels, ensuring accuracy and completeness in systems such as SAP HR and LMS.
- ** Data Accuracy and Compliance**: Maintain the integrity of HR data by generating reports, identifying discrepancies, and making necessary updates. Ensure all training completions are accurately recorded in the LMS, and certificates are issued promptly.
- ** HR Systems Support**: Provide guidance and support to colleagues on documentation systems and processes. Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of our HR systems, including preparing for the transition to a new HR system.
- ** Administrative Tasks**: Prepare and process a variety of employment-related documents, such as contracts, letters, and employment declarations, in the SAP Digital Personnel File (DPF). Ensure all changes are accurately reflected in our HR systems to facilitate timely payroll processing.

**Key ingredients for success**:

- Preferably, experience as a Document Controller.
- Familiarity with SAP HR, SuccessFactors, and SharePoint is advantageous.
- Experience handling sensitive information and a strong understanding of GDPR requirements.
- A meticulous, process-oriented, and results-driven approach to work.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
- Availability for a 32-hour work week.
