**Country Manager Customs**
Are you a visionary leader with a keen eye for strategic management? Our transition to a full-service customs and trade partner is in full swing. We are looking for a Country Manager who will further grow Gaston Schul in customer experience, commerce and IT.

**The Role**

As Country Manager Customs at Gaston Schul, you will be the driving force behind both the strategic and operational decision-making for the Dutch branches (8 directly managed colleagues and 150 indirectly managed colleagues). You understand that our ambition to become a customs leader involves changes. It is your responsibility to lead these changes and ensure that the entire team is involved.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading and implementing changes in the way of working within the customs department.
- Understanding customs processes and regulations to provide our customers with the best possible service.
- Collaborating closely with our Commercial Manager to develop and execute strategies that strengthen our market position.
- Identifying opportunities for business growth and creating value for our customers.
- Collaborating with IT teams to implement technological solutions that enhance our efficiency and strengthen our competitive position.
- Managing IT projects and ensuring seamless integration with our business processes.
- Providing guidance and support to 8 managers, promoting development and growth.
- Establishing clear objectives and expectations for each manager and ensuring they align with Gaston Schul's strategy.

**What do you bring?**
- University degree level of education (WO).
- Experience in the customs sector and logistics services is mandatory.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in team management and developing personal skills of colleagues.
- Experience with business-to-business services and change processes.
- Additionally, you are initiative-driven, organizationally aware, and excellent at delegation.
