Teamleader Logistics Crossdocks

As a Crossdock Team Leader, you are responsible for the operational processes within the Crossdock department and you lead a team of approximately 10 employees. Together, you ensure the distribution of work, and monitor the priorities of activities. In this role, you will be found on the work floor, in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment of approximately 4 degrees Celsius. Your findings and activities are reported to the Crossdock Manager. You will work in alternating shifts in the evening and night.

**What will you do?**
- Coordinating tasks within the Crossdock department;
- Guiding and coaching team members;
- Instructing and supporting employees to ensure tasks are performed safely, neatly, efficiently, and effectively;
- Ensuring correct issuance and management of tools used for tasks;
- Proposing improvements in processes within the department, and also in collaborations with other departments.

**What do you bring?**
- Several years of logistics experience (> 3 years) in a similar role, where you have managed a team of comparable size. Experience in the Food/FMCG sector is a plus;
- At least an MBO working and thinking level, education direction: Logistics;
- Strong administrative and communication skills in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
- Strong situational leadership, with an eye for the social aspect within the team;
- Able to understand operational problems and express them briefly and concisely;
- Flexibility, especially regarding the start and end times of shifts;
- Strong personality, stress-resistant, and able to maintain an overview during the shift;
- Customer-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering quality service.
