**Job Title**:

- Manager, Regional Sales Europe

**Reports To**:

- Head of Commercial

**Role Purpose**:

- The Regional Manager Cargo - Europe & UK is responsible for leading and managing all sales and operational activities related to air cargo across the European region for Malaysia Airlines. This role entails strategic planning, team leadership, and direct management of both the commercial and logístical aspects of air cargo operations. The manager will focus on optimizing existing operations while driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and robust customer relationships.

**Key Accountability**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to achieve cargo revenue targets and market share growth in Europe and United Kingdom.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with stakeholders to expand the company's presence.
- Manage and lead UK MAB Kargo members and Europe General Sales Agents (GSA's) by providing guidance, support, and training to ensure operational excellence and alignment with company objectives.
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of MAB Kargo and ensure that operations are efficient, timely, and safe.
- Collaborate closely with head office cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Operations, Customer Service, Engineering, Finance, Legal and Procurement.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners to secure terms that benefit the organization's growth and operational needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify risks and opportunities, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Address and manage emergencies and crises, such as disruptions in supply chains, equipment failures, or security threats. Develop and implement effective contingency plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies, fostering a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare regular performance reports, forecasts and budgets, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.

**Qualifications & Working Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of extensive experience in air freight operations with 5 years of managerial position.
