**About the IT / OT team**:The IT/OT team at EVOS is dedicated to ensuring seamless, secure and efficient operations at all terminals by consistently driving optimization, digitalization, secure and stable IT/OT services.

The IT/OT team consists of teams split across IT Security, Business Applications, End User Services, IT infrastructure and Operational Technology and consist of experienced colleagues together with our strategic service partners, who are together responsible for managing the relations with our suppliers and driving procurement excellence in our terminals as well as contributing to Evos Group. The IT/OT team reports to the Head of IT/OT, who is based in the Netherlands.

**About the role**: The Group Operational Technology Manager is expected to lead our Operational Technology alignment and improvement across multiple locations. The role of the Operational Technology (OT) Manager is a new role that involves overseeing and managing the operational technology infrastructure within our organization.

Operational technology refers to the use of technology in the physical operations of our business, such as industrial control systems, manufacturing processes, and critical infrastructure. Your tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of OT systems, including SCADA, PLCs, and HMI interfaces, to ensure alignment with industry standards and operational needs.- Lead a team of operational technology professionals across multiple European terminals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Develop and implement a comprehensive operational technology strategy for all terminals, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and reliability. Monitor industry trends and advancements in operational technology to stay ahead of the curve.- Ensure the ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of industrial automation systems, control systems, and IT infrastructure across all terminals. Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize system uptime.- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity policies and procedures for OT environments, working closely with the IT department to protect against external and internal threats.- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities. Identifying and assessing risks associated with OT systems. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the continuity of operations.- Ensure operational technology systems comply with industry regulations, standards, and guidelines across all terminals. Maintain documentation and records related to compliance activities, audits, and inspections.- Collaborate with regulatory authorities and third-party auditors during inspections and audits.- Liaise with OT system vendors to procure necessary equipment and services. Managing relationships with vendors to ensure the effective delivery of products and support services.

**About you**:To qualify for this role we expect that you match the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent level of education) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required. Relevant certifications in operational technology management, cybersecurity, project management, or related fields (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP) are a plus.- Proven experience in operational technology management, preferably in industries such as terminal industry, maritime, logistics, manufacturing, or transportation.- Strong understanding of industrial automation, control systems, SCADA, PLCs, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in operational technology management, such as asset management systems, data historians, and cybersecurity solutions. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing teams across multiple locations.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors. Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement operational technology strategies aligned with business objectives.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex technical challenges and optimize operational processes.- Fluent in Dutch and English.
