Decathlon Netherlands is now serving Dutch sporters in 21 stores across the country, along with a strong e-commerce business served by our state-of-the-art mechanized warehouse With a rapid growth phase ahead of us we are looking for a Commercial Strategy Leader to join the team.

As Commercial Strategy Leader, you are responsible for our relevance in the Netherlands. The sport users and market have no secret for you, with the team of sport leaders you design our best offer of products and services for our different stores formats and website, manage our pricing, and commercial attractiveness. Your market and user centricity are instrumental to accelerate our profitable and sustainable growth.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Strategy** - Guaranteeing Decathlon offer relevance- Develop deep knowledge about the needs of Dutch users and customers through in-depth market and user behavior research, as well as competitors benchmark
- Identify our sport and user target priorities, design the best user journeys for each sport with your team and the Solutions & CX teams
- Promote the Sport strategy, as well as user and market knowledge internally to guarantee all teams decision-making relevance: Product Training, User journey, Play to Win, and Store Animation
- Prepare the business plan and sport trajectory for the next 3 years by working with various teams and integrating multiple axes : Supply, Omni-Merchandising, Communication, Community
- Create the best offer online and offline, of products, services and new business models, delivering market share growth through user acquisition and retention, while guaranteeing Decathlon strategic axis in terms of environmental sustainability. Collaborate with the different business models’ teams within the Netherlands : e-commerce, circular economies, storesas well as marketing and warehouse/logistics
- Define & implement Decathlon pricing policy, serving our local relevance and brand positioning. Coordinate with Decathlon HQ in Lille, France, and local teams: finance, retail and e-commerce
- Collaborate with the Decathlon brands to ensure alignment with the brands' global strategies
- Contribute to City and expansion projects design, from market assessment, to user targeting and trajectory setting.
- **Commercialisation** - Building a strong national commercial animation- Create a national communication and commercial animation plan by sport with the marketing, retail and ecommerce teams; and follow its implementation to generate more satisfaction, value and visibility.
- Drive the local content information strategy: How to choose in store and online, How to start, Sport Education, Where to Practice, Equipment, sports story, benefits, etc. for new and advanced users. Closely track its implementation in stores. Guide frontlines on How to sell
- Closely collaborate with the supply team to optimize availability across channels
- Manage the trajectory (GMV, Turnover, mark-up, margins, expenses) to ensure the country meets his targets. Pilot Decathlon business and take actions to ensure it's realized - Daily/Weekly/Monthly
- Stores implementation:Recommend high-performing store layouts supporting the strategy, for existing and new touchpoints to come
-Improve our merchandising fundamentals for all our touchpoints formats, respecting our strategic pillars and values (frugality, attractivity and efficiency)
-Make sure new store leaders are trained on offer, supply, merchandising

**Team management**- Develop your team's skills (job and behavioral skills) and manage their performance in accordance with Decathlon management fundamentals (accountability and autonomy)
