**Overview and purpose of the role**

**How you will help us**:
The Digital Marketing Manager (Content Focus) is responsible for defining, owning, and coordinating the company’s content marketing strategy on a global scale, while ensuring its successful implementation within local marketing structures. This role will coordinate the company’s owned communication channels, with a special focus on social media, newsletters, and blog articles. The aim is to contribute to the overall growth of brand awareness, strengthening of the brand positioning in the market, foster the perception of a trusted and respected brand, and engage with target audiences to support the company’s growth objectives.

This position belongs to Central Solplanet Marketing team and thus has a global scope and coordinating function. This role reports to the Solplanet Marketing Director

**Key responsibilities**
- **Content Strategy**: Lead the global content strategy across digital channels (Social Media, Newsletter, Blog) and ensure effective execution within local markets.
- **Newsletter Strategy**: Develop and implement an engaging, data-driven newsletter strategy, including content creation, coordination, and management to increase subscriber engagement.
- **SEO Strategy**: Own the SEO content strategy and ensure the implementation of a content roadmap that enhances search engine visibility and drives organic traffic.
- **Campaign Coordination**: Collaborate with the performance marketing team to coordinate online and offline advertising campaigns, ensuring content aligns with broader marketing objectives.
- **Cross-Departmental Alignment**: Work closely with headquarters to ensure alignment of content with global campaigns and roadmaps.
- **Local Market Support**: Act as the go-to resource for local marketers, providing guidance and support for content marketing initiatives tailored to their specific markets.
- **Content Calendar Management**: Oversee and maintain a comprehensive content calendar to ensure a consistent and timely delivery of content across all channels.
- **Agencies and Vendors**: Steering of external agencies and freelancers involved in the successful implementation of the content marketing strategy
- **Performance Tracking and Optimization**: Track content performance and identify areas for optimization, driving a continuous improvement and learning process.
- **Community and MQL Management**: Manage community engagement and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) within the CRM, ensuring timely follow-up by the responsible sales team.
- **Budget Alignment**: Coordinate the alignment and request of monthly and quarterly budgets within the context of the yearly budget framework.
- **Paid Campaign Budget Management**: Oversee budget allocation, steering, and review of paid campaigns on social media channels, optimizing budget distribution based on performance results.
- **Cross-Country Learning and Best Practices**: Organize and manage cross-country learning sessions, sharing best practices and insights across regional teams.

- **HQs Marketing Team**: Ensure alignment of content across all global initiatives based on global corporate brand strategy
- **Solplanet Central Marketing Team**: alignment for cohesion between content marketing, performance marketing and PR activities.
- **Local Marketeers**: Provide support and guidance for localized content strategies.
- **Cross-country Project Leaders**: collaborate to ensure alignment of all marketing activities
- **Local and HQ HR team**: joint work on Employer Branding Strategy
