Transaction Services (TS) is one of ING Wholesale Banking's (WB) main business lines. We offer a suite of WB products and services to corporate and institutional clients. We are a significant contributor to the growth and profitability of the WB. Our strategy is aimed at ensuring that we continue to support sustained growth for the WB by delivering competitive and relevant TS products.

TS is comprised of several different business units/departments:
Sales Strategy & Balance Sheet Management Product management Payments & Cash Management Product management Trade Delivery management Bank Mendes Gans

We are looking for an intern to join the TS organization, starting off in the Product management PCM area.

The focus of the product management teams is on executing a strong commercial strategy aiming at stable and sustainable income flows. Product Management Payments & Cash Management is responsible for the commercial performance of the payments & cash management products (for both corporates and FIs). The different teams are responsible for optimizing the commercial performance of the product suite and formulating a long-term view on how we evolve our product proposition to remain relevant to our clients over time in a highly competitive environment. That means taking market developments (informed by the sales organization and external input) and translating those into concrete requirements for product development and enhancements, as well as formulating a view on how the organization will commercialize the enhanced product proposition.

**As an TS intern...**
- You report to the Head of Product Management TS Network.
- You work, as part of your traineeship, across and within the four departments of TS Product Management PCM.
- You gain fast track experience by working on various projects and assignments.
- You focus on enhancing your personal capabilities by contributing to the business needs.
- You are part of the European network, where we stimulate cross-border collaboration and alignment with the parties that need to contribute to our specific business product area.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- You stay informed about the evolving business and functional priorities and use this knowledge to inform about decisions and create clarity.
- You contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work and generate new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.
- You prioritize your own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of quality and timeliness.
- You support stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, and events.

**Proven track record and technical skills**:

- Master's or bachelor's degree
- Ability to work under guidance (but not constant supervision) to analyze data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
