As a young and successful company, we need an experienced Human Resources professional to manage our current HR needs and support our ambitious growth plan. Lemba has employees in the Netherlands and contractors around the globe. **Responsibilities**:

- You work on operational and tactical levels within the organization.
- You assist management in recruitment, post job listings, filter resumes for managers, schedule interviews, assist in the selection of new employees, and manage the onboarding process.
- You work closely with the financial controller to prepare and run monthly payrolls and support the administation of attendance/leave, pension and benefits packages and the preparation of employment contracts.
- You have experience in employee training, compensation package design, conflict resolution, workplace investigations, and disciplinary and termination procedures.
- You assist managers in enforcing policies and procedures, and support team leaders in performance management and the annual review process.
- You answer employees' questions regarding HR policy and are responsible for updating and improving the employee manual. You oversee compliance & enforcement of Dutch wage and labor laws.
- You assist our international stakeholders with coordinating their travel and accommodation when coming to our headquarters in the Netherlands.
- You develop team building programs, plan special events, and are the company’s goodwill ambassador.

**Qualifications/What do you need to be successful at Lemba Therapeutics**
- You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
- You have 5+ years of work experience in a similar position.
- You have up-to-date and solid Dutch Labor law knowledge.
- You have some experience in bookkeeping, implementing/transitioning payroll and benefits program in collaboration with the financial controller.
- You have strong communication skills in Dutch and English (verbal and written). Fluency in English is a must due to our international environment.
- You are stress-resistant, proactive and hands-on/result oriented.
- Working in a R&D, biotechnology or life science start-up organization is a plus.

**Terms of employment**
- One year contract, with the opportunity for a permanent contract with good performance.
- 40 hours a week.
- 23 vacation days (in addition to our list of public holidays).
- Competitive salary, 13th months bonus
- Pension plan (under development), performance bonus and bicycle plan and benefits package are available as well.
- A fun and educational workplace at our office at Wijchenseweg 10F in Nijmegen.

Pay: €4.000,00 - €5.000,00 per month
