About the role

**Flexible and ambitious opportunity**

Trifork Amsterdam is on the hunt for a dynamic and self-driven events maestro to join our GOTO Amsterdam conference team. You’ll collaborate closely with our vibrant local Amsterdam team as well as the global GOTO team, playing a key role in orchestrating unforgettable experiences.

In this role, you'll immerse yourself in the tech world, engaging with top-tier technology experts while honing your event production skills, all within a supportive and collaborative team
- both in-person and remotely.

You’ll work an average of 16 - 24 hours a week, with flexibility to accommodate your schedule, especially during exam periods if needed. The position offers a blend of remote and in-office work at our Amsterdam office.
- Your presence will be essential during the conference, which runs from June 20 to July 2, 2025.- We promote an entrepreneurial mindset and encourage you to think outside the box in search of new and fresh ways to revolutionize the conference experience._

- Planning and executing social gatherings and physical events
- To keep GOTO active year-round, we invite the Dutch tech community to inspirational and educational networking events such as meetups and round table discussions etc in Amsterdam to hear from experts and share knowledge. You’ll be part of the planning, execution and wrap up for these GOTO Events. These events will either take place in house at the Amsterdam office, a local venue or in collaboration with one of our corporate partners._
- Assisting with sales outreach and coordination with conference partners
- In relation to activating the tech community in Amsterdam, you’ll also be assisting with sales outreach and managing the needs and wants of our conference partners._
- Conference Crew management
- GOTO Amsterdam gets logístical assistance and support before and during the conference from volunteers both students and IT enthusiasts. You’ll be part of the recruitment of crew volunteers throughout the year as well as assist in managing them on-site at the conferences to make sure everything runs smoothly._

**Additional responsibilities include**:

- Overall conference administration tasks, aligning with the conference manager and colleagues on a daily basis
- Support the project managers to exceed guest experiences
- Assist in the building up our community and promoting GOTO
- Searching, booking and coordinating with venues and suppliers for different needs

Who are you?- Available to start in as soon as possible.
- Either BA or MA student studying in The Netherlands with a couple of years left of your study or recently graduated, preferably with a background in Hospitality/Event management or other relevant education.
- Able to work in our office in Amsterdam
- Eligible to work in The Netherlands (EU Passport or work permit)
- You’re a smooth communicator & collaborator (verbal & written). Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch is a plus
- Independent, good problem solving skills, not afraid to take initiative
- Intensely curious with the drive to get sh*%$t done
- Detail-oriented with good time management skills and an ability to prioritize
- Have experience in Event production/management
- ANY design skills is a plus
- Big plus if you have an interest in or are eager to learn more about technology, innovation, programming and software development terminology and trends
