Located on the Keizersgracht, in the heart of the Nine Streets is Amsterdam’s best-kept secret: The Dylan Amsterdam. A 5-star boutique hotel where it’s all about sincere and personal service and where we aim to create unforgettable experiences for our guests. A historic setting with 41 beautiful hotel rooms, 4 spaces for events, Bar Brasserie OCCO, the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Vinkeles, and the smallest fine-dining restaurant in the Netherlands, até.

As Group & Events Coordinator, you will make daily sales calls for guest parties in our F&B outlets and the 4 private rooms. You will be the central point of contact for our guests and you will give tours to potential new guests. From request to after-sales, you are responsible for group bookings and events, such as a meeting, (business) dinner, wedding or other occasion. Together with a colleague, you form the events team, you ensure clear communication, so that all details of the accepted parties are shared with the various operational departments, and you monitor the achievement of the set budgets. After an event, you will keep in touch and evaluate the event with the client. You maintain the relationship and will take care of account management. In this role, you will start building a network, representing The Dylan as a preferred venue for events in the local area.

Do you recognise yourself in the points below?
- You have graduated from a Higher Hotel School course or similar.
- You have some relevant experience in a similar hotel in a Banquet Sales / Group & Events function.
- You are stress-resistant, flexible and enthusiastic.
- You have an eye for detail and administrative strength.
- Excellent communication skills and commercial skills.
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of Smart Event Manager is a plus.
