Situated in the bustling heart of Amsterdam, we are in search of a meticulous and dynamic Groups, Meetings & Events Manager, a visionary in orchestrating memorable events and group stays that elevate the hotel's reputation for luxury and service. Here, where hospitality converges with limitless possibilities, our goal is to create an environment where events and group experiences are flawlessly executed and continuously refined.
**What You'll Do**
Manage all aspects of group bookings and events from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up | Liaise with clients to understand their vision and requirements for corporate groups, meetings, and events | Collaborate with internal departments for seamless execution | Prepare tailored event proposals and conduct site inspections | Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business | Negotiate contracts that satisfy both client needs and hotel interests | Create and manage event budgets, tracking expenses for profitability | Lead and motivate a team of event coordinators, fostering a high-service environment | Monitor event setup and quality standards, addressing client requests promptly | Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety regulations | Collaborate with marketing to promote the venue’s offerings and develop promotional materials | Utilize inventory and revenue management systems to identify opportunities.
**Who you are**
Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a luxury hotel setting | Strong organizational skills and attention to detail | Excellent communication and interpersonal skills | Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment | Creative problem-solver with the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences | Proficient in Microsoft Office, and Opera Sales and Catering.
