**About the role**

ACT Commodities is a leading global firm specializing in environmental commodities and energy markets. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Medio/Senior Business Development and Origination professional in the Energy Efficiency sector in Spain. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of our Energy Efficiency business strategy in Spain while building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the sector.

**What you'll do**:

- Participate in the development of the Energy Efficiency sector in Spain by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- Help define and implement a comprehensive strategy for ACT Commodities' Energy Efficiency operations in Spain.
- Build and expand a robust network of contacts and stakeholders within the Energy Efficiency sector in Spain.
- Take ownership of the origination and execution of Energy Efficiency projects, from initial identification to successful implementation.
- Effectively manage projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary and regulatory requirements.
- Promote ACT Commodities' services and solutions across different platforms and industry associations to increase market visibility and attract new clients.
- Conduct analysis to assess the eligibility of Energy Efficiency projects for the issuance of Certificates of Energy Efficiency (CAE).
- Foster collaboration and maintain positive relationships with private sector entities, public organizations, and regulatory bodies relevant to the Energy Efficiency sector in Spain.

**Who you are**:

- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in business development.
- Educational background in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Preferably, prior experience or knowledge of the Energy sector and a strong understanding of the Energy Efficiency markets across Europe.
- Familiarity with Certificates Trading is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and result-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Spain to engage with clients, stakeholders, and project sites.
