Product Sales Manager

Take charge as a Product Sales Manager at PACCAR Parts Europe, leading your own product group from development to customer visits In the role of a Product Sales Manager, you have full ownership and responsibility for your own product group. Your responsibilities encompass the entire process, from collaborating with the Product Development team to ensure seamless integration of accessories with the products, to successfully launching the product, and finally, visiting customers and dealers to showcase the accessories. In the meantime, you will also be responsible for visiting suppliers to discuss pricing and/or positioning of the product.
As a Product Sales Manager, it is important for you to stay informed about market trends and gather relevant information. You will play a pivotal role in persuading other departments by clearly communicating the insights and data you have collected from the market. The position offers you considerable autonomy and the freedom to make independent decisions based on your expertise and assessment. While doing this, you make sure to align and discuss those decisions with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key tasks of a Product Sales Manager:
- Determine the assortment, the branding, distribution and pricing strategy
- Initiate and coordinate product introductions and assortment reviews
- Negotiate cost savings and promotions and promotional activities to support product programs together with the Parts Purchasing department and our suppliers
- Maintain, create and collect commercial parts documentation and product promotion tools to support sales
- Provide relevant information regarding sales promotions and product training to the Sales-, Fleet Sales
- and Marketing Programs departments
- Able to perform sales and profit analyses per product group and to report these in a structured way with the aim of improving sales and profit
- Manage projects, assortment reviews and product introductions and align with departments (Materials, Purchasing, Sales) via clear communication about project-timings, forecasts, milestones
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and have frequent consultations with the Sales units, Dealers, Customers, Suppliers, Purchasing, Materials, Marketing Programs, Business Intelligence and Truck Marketing

Drive your career, join DAF PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE) is responsible for growing spare parts sales to customers in all DAF markets worldwide, exclusively through the DAF and TRP branded dealer network; DAF, PACCAR and TRP. PPE uses 5 state-of-the-art distribution centers (PDCs) in Eindhoven, Leyland, Madrid, Budapest and (in the nearby future) Massbach and delivers unique and innovative customer and dealer solutions.
Within PPE, the Product Marketing department is responsible for maintaining, expanding and pricing the parts range to achieve sales and profit targets. Within Product Marketing, the Product Management team is responsible for all product marketing activities of DAF, PACCAR and TRP parts. All original replacement parts and accessories for DAF/PACCAR vehicles are sold under the brand names DAF and PACCAR. To meet the 'one-stop shop' needs of our customers, PACCAR Parts sells parts for other brands of trucks, trailers and workshop items under the brand name TRP.
The Product Management team consists of a total of 12 members, including 2 team leaders who each manage a number of Product Sales Managers. The current role is situated within the team that holds the responsibility for PACCAR Parts' TRP range.
