Job Summary
The controller will handle high-level accounting and managerial accounting and oversee the financial activities of an international company in the Netherlands. As head of the accounting department, the controller will manage and supervise all aspects of accounting.

- Finance & Reporting_- Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reporting package to ensure compliance of internal and external reporting requirements in accordance with IFRS, while adhering to tight timelines- Monitor and enforce Key Performance Indicators (KPI)- Manage quarterly forecasting process, including collaborating with various stakeholders on inputs such as sales pipeline, staffing costs, capital expenditures, etc. to prepare a robust forecast- Ensure execution of action items and improvement plans from the quarterly forecast review process- Oversee accounts payable and receivables processes and manage working capital- Recommend and implement process improvements to ensure finance function operates effectively and efficiently- Coordinate payroll processing and accounting
- Management_- Act as a business partner to the CEO and senior leadership team in supporting their reporting needs and identifying potential areas for improvement- Present financial results, including presentation of quarterly forecasts and explanation of variances between forecasts and actual results- Provide strategic financial leadership on issues affecting the business- Recommend and lead efforts to improve ROIC (return on invested capital) and/or growth performance- Lead change and process improvements within the financial department
- Legal_- Work closely with senior leadership team to ensure projects bids and contract terms, financial and otherwise, adhere to the business parameters, including identifying potential business risks and mitigation strategies- Coordinate all legal activities with VP Group Finance
- Profile_- University level education (MSc., RA, RC)- Broad interest (operational-strategic activities)- Strong affinity with IT and process automation (BI-tools)- IFRS knowledge- Proactive, strong signaling function- Resolute personality, decisive- Experience with business control activities- Fluent in both Dutch and English language- Must reside in the Netherlands- Annual salary expectation approx. 100,000 Euro for full-time employment
