Chapter Lead Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Chapter Lead Data Analyst to join our Wholesale Banking Analytics team at ING Netherlands. As a Chapter Lead Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in creating a data-driven culture and delivering valuable insights that drive business impact.

About the Role

The Chapter Lead Data Analyst will be responsible for building, managing, and developing a team of data analysts. You will work closely with stakeholders from IT, data science, user research, product delivery squads, and business areas across Wholesale Bank organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • People Management (50%): Participate in recruitment, provide coaching and mentoring, manage a team of data analysts, and allocate them to product teams based on their skills and career goals.
  • Data Analysis (50%): Work as a senior data analyst, deliver high-quality data analysis, provide guidance to junior and mid-level data analysts, and collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to build analytics products.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years in coordination roles and 3-5 years in data analytics, data visualization, or statistics.
  • Tech Stack: SQL, Python (especially Pyspark), PowerBI, Tableau, Cognos, data reporting, and statistics.
  • Passion for People Management and Mentoring.
  • Nice to Have: Experience with data pipelines, data analytics in the financial services industry, and understanding of machine learning/AI.
