Join Our Team as a Computational Cancer Genomics Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated scientist to join our Oncology Antigen Discovery and Computational Research team in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. As a Computational Cancer Genomics Scientist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of experts in cancer genomics, molecular biology, computational science, and immunology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of our antigen discovery pipeline to identify and prioritize tumor antigens for oncology programs.
  • Collaborate with the Antigen Discovery and Validation team to integrate newly acquired in-house and public data into the discovery pipeline.
  • Support cross-functional projects with other CureVac departments and participate in the development of bioinformatics software and data analysis pipelines.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • PhD in a computational field, such as computational immunology, systems biology, bioinformatics, genomics, or similar.
  • Proven track record of building bioinformatics software and/or data analysis pipelines with experience in Linux computing environments.
  • Well-versed in at least one scripting language, preferably Python.
  • Experience with machine learning and cloud computing is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
