About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Risk Manager to join our team at Van Hay. As a key member of our Risk and Capital Management department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability and security of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust financial risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
- Evaluate new products and business initiatives from a financial risk management perspective to ensure alignment with our risk appetite.
- Validate internal risk and investment models, as well as financial risk-related reporting processes.
- Perform in-depth risk and scenario analyses to determine potential risks in financial processes and propose improvement measurements.
- Contribute to reports prepared for the Board and Risk Committees.
- Stay up-to-date with new laws and regulations in the field and ensure compliance.
Requirements
- University degree in finance/economics or related field, preferably with FRM and/or CFA certification.
- Seven to ten years of experience in financial risk management, preferably in banking and investment management.
- Good knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Solid understanding of banking and investment products.
- Experience with ALM, model validation, stress testing, ICAAP, ILAAP, and recovery plans.
- Ability to analyze risks, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with colleagues.
