Are you looking to unlock your potential as a data analyst? JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS, a leading global coffee and tea company, is seeking an intern to join its Data Management team.

In this exciting role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and extract valuable insights from our organization's dynamic ecosystem. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting a comprehensive inventory of data within our ecosystem
  • Analyzing usage patterns of different data attributes, identifying high-impact fields and underutilized areas, and providing recommendations for strategic enhancements
  • Quantifying the volume and significance of data points associated with each field, offering a comprehensive view of our data landscape
  • Collaborating with teams to gather additional insights and context about data usage and dependencies
  • Documenting findings in clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in strategic data analysis and decision-making, working with various teams, and analyzing different data points to identify key areas for business improvement.

What We Offer

As a Data Insights and Optimization Analyst Intern at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS, you can expect:

  • A monthly internship allowance of €525 (full-time)
  • Travel compensation if you don't have a free public transport card
  • Paid holidays for each internship term
  • Two weeks of remote working anywhere in Europe (EEA)
  • The chance to learn from experienced Data Management professionals

Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Be enrolled in a BSc or MSc program for the entirety of the internship, preferably in Data Analytics, Business, or a related field
  • Possess strong MS Office skills and fluent proficiency in speaking and written English
  • Have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Be ready to dedicate at least 5 months to this internship
