Salary and Benefits

The estimated monthly internship allowance for this role is €525 (full-time). Additionally, you will receive travel compensation if you don't have a free public transport card, paid holidays for each internship term, two weeks of remote working anywhere in Europe, and the chance to learn from industry experts.

Job Description

This finance C&TS intern role offers a unique opportunity to gain insider knowledge about coffee and tea sourcing within an international business structure. You will participate in daily and weekly governance and control tasks related to commodity hedging activities, support the team in month-end closing and reporting activities, work on activities in the purchase to pay process, and execute a project or assignment tailored to your studies.

As a key player in our C&TS team, you will contribute to valuable insights not only in C&T sourcing but also in how to be a part of successful teamwork collaboration projects in a global business environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must be enrolled in a BSc or MSc program for the entirety of the internship. Your skillset should include strong MS Office skills and fluent proficiency in speaking and written English. Having some similar hands-on experience with food research activities is beneficial.

You must have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

Your internship should be included in your study curriculum and directly contribute to your academic results. Your educational institution must be willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS, and when joining our Research departments, also sign an NDA agreement for internships.

You must either be an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
