About the Internship
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Subsea Cables team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of engineering and contribute to the preparation and execution of our innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting specifications and procedures for our projects and designs within the set framework and customer and contractual requirements.
- Designing and developing innovative technical solutions to provide an optimal solution to the customer and mitigate risks to an as low as possible level.
- Defining scope, providing calculations and checking engineering work executed by other departments or subcontractors.
- Assisting and advising during the execution of tenders and live projects, in some cases and if possible, on location or onboard one of our vessels.
- Identifying lessons learned and assisting with the implementation of related follow-up actions.
Requirements
- You are in your 3rd or 4th year of your bachelor or master studies in Civil engineering, Marine engineering, Offshore Engineering or Mechanical engineering.
- You have good communication skills and a good knowledge of the English language, both written and verbally.
- You are motivated and eager to learn.
- You are a team player, pro-active and have a hands-on mentality.
