About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Subsea Cables team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of engineering, working on innovative projects and collaborating with a diverse team of experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and execution of Subsea Cable projects, ensuring safety, quality, time, and budget compliance.
- Develop and draft specifications and procedures for projects and designs within the set framework and customer and contractual requirements.
- Design and develop innovative technical solutions, providing optimal solutions to customers and mitigating risks to a minimum level.
- Define scope, provide calculations, and check engineering work executed by other departments or subcontractors.
- Assist and advise during the execution of tenders and live projects, in some cases, on location or onboard one of our vessels.
- Identify lessons learned and assist with the implementation of related follow-up actions.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Dutch educational institute, pursuing a degree in Civil engineering, Marine engineering, Offshore Engineering, or Mechanical engineering.
- Good communication skills and a good knowledge of the English language, both written and verbally.
- Motivated and eager to learn.
- Team player, pro-active, and hands-on mentality.
