About the Role
Monks is seeking an experienced Art Director to lead the development of effective and outstanding creative work for one of Europe's largest retail companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and conceptualize ideas and content for multiple campaigns throughout the year.
- Oversee the execution of art direction and help improve work by offering new angles, inspiration, best practices, and practical solutions.
- Translate strategic/client briefs into striking creative work.
- Ensure quality at all times, with attention to detail and perfection.
- Work within a larger client team to align our work and processes with the client's objectives and expectations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of high-level experience as a Mid/Senior Art Director or in crafting retail campaigns.
- A portfolio showcasing outstanding creative work.
- Strong English communication skills for working with clients and colleagues worldwide.
- Ability to create balanced and beautiful designs.
- Understanding of fundamentals such as typography, interaction design, film and animation production, flow, and storytelling.
- Experience selling creative work to colleagues and clients, with a track record of client presentations.
