Job Title: Lead Analyst

Description

Aegon Asset Management is seeking a highly skilled Lead Analyst to coordinate the full operational value chain of our private debt activities. As a key member of our Private Debt Operations team, you will be responsible for data management, invoicing, and documentation management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of our Private Debt Operations Team, ensuring seamless coordination with global teams.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Act as a key point of contact for Private Debt front office teams and the wider operations and IT team.
  • Work closely with Technical Portfolio Managers to ensure effective loan management and trade operations.
  • Manage data, including loan set-up, invoicing, and bank account management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely trade operations, including cash and trade reconciliations.
  • Implement and review operational processes, ensuring continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and maintain written policies and procedures, ensuring governance and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with Aegon's Private Debt product range through front office interactions and scheduled training sessions.

Requirements:

  • Approximately 4-6 years of experience in middle office loan servicing and settlement, and trade support.
  • Proven track record in successful borrower onboarding and fund launches within a global asset management business.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with fluency in English and Dutch.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Experience with Aladdin is a plus.
  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent, supplemented with CFA, CAIA, or similar.
