The Sales Account Manager will report to the Country Sales Leader Netherlands & MD and will be responsible for selling a range of Honeywell Home branded products and solutions, including thermostats and valves. The role requires extensive travel across the Noord-Holland region, with one day per week based onsite in our Amsterdam office.
The Sales Account Manager will be part of a successful, customer-friendly, and enthusiastic sales team, focused on turnover and profit. The role involves:
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing sales strategies to identify opportunities and isolate threats to market position.
- Formulating improvements in product/market combinations and profiling the organization and its products in the market, focusing on the development and profitability of the product range.
- Starting up strategic partnerships within (larger) organizations within the Netherlands.
- Creating sales plans and objectives, predicting expected turnover, and creating support for management objectives.
- Managing the progress of sales activities and sales results, resolving bottlenecks in the sales organization, and problems with the sales activities.
- Supporting the sales team in fostering contacts that add value to the customer and laying the foundation for a profitable and lasting relationship.
- Building and maintaining relationships with major accounts and prospects.
- Reviewing sales and marketing performance in relation to objectives, analyzing trends, and assessing causes for deviations from objectives.
- 5 years of working experience in a sales/key account management position within a technical environment.
- Ability to achieve results through the transfer of sales strategies, plans, and management reports.
- Driving license and the ability to travel within Noord-Holland.
- Excellent oral and written skills in the Dutch and English languages.
- This position is eligible to participate in a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), offering a sales bonus expressed as a percentage of your annual salary.
