About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Rental and Repair Technician to join our Kongsberg Maritime team in The Netherlands. As a key member of our Rental and Repair team, you will be responsible for providing effective in-house technical support for our Kongsberg Discovery products operated by the Rental and Repair team towards our Benelux customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-house test/inspection and repair of rental or customer equipment returned for evaluation or service.
  • Maintain rental equipment in good working condition.
  • Check scope of delivery/returns before and after rental according to checklist, check physical status.
  • Monitor the status of customer repair jobs and ensure all data is entered correctly and kept up-to-date on service database(s).
  • Maintain and organize a clean workshop, outside container storage facility, and tools & equipment.
  • Support the Rental & Repair team with order processing activities.
  • Documentation and reporting.
Requirements
  • A degree in Electro/Hydrography/Subsea systems or relevant experience may compensate for lack of education.
  • Interested in hydrographic products.
  • General good knowledge of computer & network systems/data communication.
  • Natural ability to handle administrative and reporting tasks.
  • Proficient written and oral skills in Dutch and English.
