Senior Project Manager

Serco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the Data Centre Consolidation project for the European Space Agency (ESA). This is a contract role that will start ASAP and finish at the end of 2025.
Key Responsibilities- Support the ESA-wide Data Centre optimization and rationalization project.
- Develop a detailed analysis of the data centre infrastructure, including services to be moved, timelines, and dependencies.
- Define a governance model and structure for the data centre, including SLAs and costs.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including environmental sustainability and greenhouse gas emissions.
- 5-10+ years of project management experience in the IT or data centre industry.
- Degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Project management certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM.
