We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Project Manager to join our Logistics Operational Excellence team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead cross-functional projects to identify and implement process improvements, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced costs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to diagnose process issues and develop solutions to improve the flow of our value chain.
- Develop and maintain our Logistics Target Operating Model, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide internal consultative services on Operational Excellence projects and activities, including process mapping, value stream mapping, and project management.
- Build capability within teams by targeting training in Operational Excellence tools and methodologies.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in an Operational environment, preferably in Logistics, Manufacturing, Production, or Fulfillment.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in Project Management, managing mid-to-large scale projects.
- Preferred experience in Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement, with knowledge of World Class Manufacturing, Lean Management, and/or Toyota Production System.
- Deep knowledge of Logistics Management Systems and Target Operating Models.
- Strong analytical mindset, with ability to use data to inform decisions.
- Fluent in English.
- Freedom to initiate, execute, and implement your own ideas.
