Job Title: Maintenance Lead - Hydrogen Production

Shell is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Lead to join our team at the Holland Hydrogen 1 asset, a groundbreaking large-scale Green Hydrogen electrolysis facility in Europe. As a key member of our operations and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of the process facilities, safety systems, and utilities to produce high-quality hydrogen in accordance with production plans, targets, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the maintenance team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless handovers and minimize disruptions
  • Manage and maintain a high level of atomization and ownership in predictive maintenance
  • Develop and execute cleaning and preservation scope during the project phase
  • Contribute to the development of work procedures, standard maintenance procedures, and training programs
Requirements:
  • Strong background in operations and maintenance, with experience in commissioning and start-up of assets
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse and international team
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and digital operational environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a hands-on mentality and a passion for developing skills in Energy Transition technology
