About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Market Analyst to join our Commercial team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing short to longer term market views on biofuels, feedstocks, and related end-markets in support of our commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide regular market intelligence and short-term trends on biofuels, feedstocks, and (veg) oil markets to the trade team and executive management team.
  • Update our in-house view on supply & demand fundamentals in key markets and present this to the executive management team and Argent's Board directors on a quarterly basis.
  • Analyse and update our in-house view on supply & demand fundamentals of our respective feedstocks and present trends and conclusions to our trade team, corporate development team, and executive management team.
  • Support the corporate development team on market data and analyses required to test our assumptions for building strategic business cases for future growth.
  • Monitor developments by competition and keep track of Argent's main competition and their developments in various projects and investment decisions.
  • Support our corporate affairs department with calculations and analyses as a result of (upcoming) national and European policy changes impacting the demand of our end-markets.
