We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health and Safety specialist to join our team in the Netherlands. As a key member of our Fluence Digital business unit, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Health and Safety for our office in Amsterdam and for all projects in the BeNelux area.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a health and safety officer, focusing on day-to-day health and safety issues within our company.
- Develop and implement Health and Safety procedures, conduct inspections and audits, and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and training to team members, ensuring they understand and adhere to Health and Safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address Health and Safety issues, provide technical support, and participate in problem-solving activities.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as engineering, Health and Safety management, or a related discipline.
- Previous training as a health and safety officer, according to Dutch regulations.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Health and Safety control or assurance roles within manufacturing, engineering, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety control techniques, tools, and methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with Health and Safety management standards such as ISO 45001.
- Fluent in English and Dutch language, with German or other European languages being a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A valid residency in the European Union and a valid driving license.
