Job Title: Health and Safety Specialist

Fluence is a global market leader delivering intelligent energy storage and optimization software for renewables and storage. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a health and safety officer, focusing on day-to-day health and safety issues within the company.
  • Develop and implement Health and Safety procedures, conduct inspections and audits, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address Health and Safety issues.
  • Assist in building supplier and subcontractor Health and Safety programs and policies.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a field such as engineering, Health and Safety management, or a related discipline.
  • Previous training as a health and safety officer according to Dutch regulation (preventiemedewerker).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Health and Safety control or assurance roles within manufacturing, engineering, or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety control techniques, tools, and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety management standards such as ISO 45001.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch language, with German or other European languages a plus.
