Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Clear Engineering Recruitment LTD is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join their team for a contract role in a Data Centre project in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide EHS training and guidance to construction teams and contractors to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence and minimize environmental impacts.
- Monitor environmental impacts, including waste management and pollution control, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols on-site to prevent injuries and illnesses.
- Report EHS performance metrics and drive continuous safety improvements to enhance the company's reputation and reduce risks.
Requirements:
- 5 years' experience in Health and Safety, with a focus on data centre projects.
- Experience working with Microsoft data centre projects.
- EU Passport holder.
- Relevant EHS qualifications and certifications.
