Job Description:

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our EHS efforts in the EMEA region. As a key member of our Global Safety & Security team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating EHS programs and policies to maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement EHS strategies and policies to ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards, and drive remediation of any safety gaps identified.
  • Investigate and support all EHS-related incidents, including accidents and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Analyze EHS metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injury.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on EHS regulations and procedures to ensure employees are knowledgeable and trained on their EHS responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver EHS solutions and ensure compliance with EHS requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with EHS vendors and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews to ensure alignment to our agreed-upon success KPIs.
  • Drive forward ergonomics compliance in the region and oversee regional ergonomics programs and evaluations.
  • Coordinate the EMEA region-wide Medical and Eye Health Program and serve as the Prevention Officer for the region.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of EHS experience, with at least 3 years in a manager or supervisory role.
  • Experience in managing ergonomic programs and possession of Ergonomics Certification.
  • Extensive experience with risk management in datacenters and electrical safety.
  • Possession of EHS Certifications such as NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC), IOSH Managing Safely, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying strong knowledge and depth of understanding of the European EHS regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships and communicate effectively at all levels and across functions within the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites remotely.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience required; an Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management degree is highly desired.
