About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team at Palo Alto Networks. As an EHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating EHS programs and policies for the organization in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards, including driving remediation of any safety gaps identified from assessments.
  • Investigate and support all EHS-related incident investigations from start to finish, including recommending corrective actions and tracking incident metrics.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on EHS regulations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver EHS solutions and assist facilities and regional teams in incorporating our EHS standards.
  • Build strong relationships with EHS vendors in the region and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews to ensure alignment to our agreed-upon success KPIs.
  • Drive forward ergonomics compliance in the region and oversee and maintain regional ergonomics programs and evaluations.
  • Serve as the Prevention Officer for the region and conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Analyze EHS metrics quarterly to discover trends and rationalize the allocation of resources to areas where the EHS risk is highest and implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injury.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of EHS experience, with at least 3 years in a manager or supervisory role.
  • Experience in managing ergonomic programs and possess Ergonomics Certification.
  • Extensive experience with risk management in datacenters and electrical safety.
  • Possess EHS Certifications such as NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC), IOSH Managing Safely, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying strong knowledge and depth of understanding of the European EHS regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships and communicate effectively at all levels and across functions within the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites/remotely.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience required - an Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management degree is highly desired.
