Europol is seeking a skilled Public Relations Specialist to join its Corporate Communications Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for elevating the organization's engagements with various media outlets, ensuring positive media coverage, and supporting key events and conferences.

Job Summary

The Media Communications Expert will report directly to the Head of the Corporate Communications Team and will be responsible for drafting clear and compelling press releases, preparing reports on media activities, and monitoring media coverage related to the organization. They will also build and maintain positive relationships with journalists and other media professionals.

  • Monitor media coverage and measure the effectiveness of media campaigns
Requirements
  • Nationality: National of one of the Member States of the European Union
  • Citizenship: Enjoy full rights as a citizen
  • Military Service: Fulfilled any obligations imposed by the applicable laws on military service
  • Physical Fitness: Physically fit to perform the duties pertaining to the post
  • Languages: Thorough knowledge of one of the languages of the Union and satisfactory knowledge of another language of the Union
Education and Experience
  • Level of Education: Completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma or equivalent professional training and relevant experience
  • Professional Experience: At least 3 years of total professional work experience gained after the award of the diploma
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in media relations, public relations, communication, or a related field
  • Knowledge of the national and international media landscape
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with media professionals
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately €60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience, plus benefits.
