Your Role in Summary
Key Responsibilities:
This leadership position at Idean entails enhancing our reputation, expanding our business, and nurturing our talent through effective Project Leadership, Business Development, and Design Leadership.
Project Leadership:
You will take the lead in project delivery, serving as the primary engagement leader, while overseeing teams comprising designers, strategists, consultants, technologists, and project managers. Your role will involve building and maintaining strong client relationships, guiding the project team with both leadership and hands-on involvement. You will navigate every phase of the project lifecycle, ensuring that outcomes align with user needs and client objectives. You should be enthusiastic about collaborating with clients throughout the creative process, responsive to feedback, and prepared to present your team's concepts to stakeholders.
On a typical project, you will:
- Lead a project team to achieve optimal performance while maintaining timelines and team cohesion.
- Establish quality benchmarks, informed by a thorough understanding of client goals and constraints, for research, insight development, experience modeling, design, and testing.
- Drive the creation of insights, define and prioritize opportunities, and envision innovative concepts.
- Foster meaningful customer feedback loops through iterative testing and learning.
- Prioritize MVP features, manage backlogs, and develop strategic product roadmaps.
- Support the implementation of new products to bring innovative solutions to fruition.
Business Development:
- Collaborate with business development teams to craft strategies, prepare proposals, and present to potential clients.
- Ensure continuity of projects beyond initial scopes and identify further opportunities within client organizations.
- Contribute to content creation for demand generation initiatives and establish yourself as a thought leader in your field.
Design Leadership:
As a member of the design leadership team, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the design culture and team dynamics. Specifically:
- Manage direct reports, mentoring junior colleagues and providing constructive feedback for their professional growth.
- Participate in talent acquisition processes, either as a hiring manager or as part of hiring teams.
