Pricing Strategist

As a key member of the global retail analytics team, you will play a crucial role in driving commercial and analytical opportunities in pricing for our retail business. Your primary responsibility will be to define and execute actionable pricing strategies, leveraging your analytical skills to optimize prices and drive revenue growth.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Developing and implementing pricing models that balance commercial and analytical objectives
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize pricing opportunities
  • Providing data-driven insights to inform pricing decisions and drive business outcomes

As a transversal topic expert, you will work closely with global and local product, pricing, and analytics teams to drive business results. Your ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build strong relationships with stakeholders will be essential to your success.

You will be part of a highly diverse and international team based in ING's Cedar office, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that values innovation and collaboration.

Your Profile

  • 5-10 years of experience in a pricing or quantitative marketing role
  • Proven track record of execution and impact in a complex environment
  • Solid understanding of retail banking products
  • Pricing or strategy consulting background is an advantage

Skills Required

  • Analytical mindset; you operate in an analytical & fact-driven manner, and have high affinity with data
  • Ability to identify the connection between quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Solid functional knowledge; including but not limited to: customer segmentation, value proposition and product design, pricing models, price setting, consumer behavior, market research, value communication, project management, financial modelling
  • Commercial drive; you have a knack for spotting opportunities to generate commercial impact
  • Cross-cultural leadership; you have the ability to collaborate with and lead & inspire colleagues from different cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to synthesize, visualize and communicate complex problems in oral and written communication, including in the form of compelling PowerPoint presentations
  • Excellent command of the English language is a must
