Your primary goal will be to enable the commercial success of our sales teams, ensuring we capture a fair share of the value our products deliver to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with product managers and product marketing teams to define competitive value-based pricing for new and existing products and services.
- Take ownership of product/use case combinations, analyzing commercial results to update pricing models and working with sales support staff to publish them internally and to third-party partners.
- Work with Sales managers to apply pricing models to concrete deal opportunities.
- Gradually expand your understanding and insight into our business, increasing your tangible financial impact and taking on increasingly complex customer proposals and commercial constructs.
- Contribute Software as a Service approaches or ideas you've picked up elsewhere, sharing them with the team to foster learning and growth.
- Assume responsibility at a more strategic level, collaborating with various TomTom teams, including Product Marketing, Finance, Sales Analytics, Sales Enablement, and senior leadership.
- At least 5 years of experience in a pricing or similar role.
- Strong experience in a SaaS B2B environment.
- Degree in Economics, Finance, or Engineering, with an MBA preferred.
- A strong desire to take initiative and proactively push things forward.
- Endless curiosity and excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize diverse opinions and sources of information from various stakeholders.
- Commercially savvy business acumen, common sense, and interpersonal skills to apply expertise to real-world situations.
- The ability to present ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
