Pricing Analyst Role


We are seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to join our team at TomTom. As our Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in defining our monetization models and developing pricing methods for our products.



Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with our product managers and product marketing teams to define competitive value-based pricing for new and existing products and services.
  • Own a portfolio of product/use case combinations and analyze commercial results to update pricing models, working closely with sales support staff to publish them.
  • Work with Sales managers to apply these models to concrete deal opportunities.
  • Take ownership of increasingly complex customer proposals and commercial constructs, leveraging your growing understanding and insight into our business.
  • Contribute software-as-a-service approaches or ideas you've developed elsewhere, and help us learn from your expertise.
  • Once you have a deep grasp of our business, collaborate with other TomTom teams to drive strategic pricing initiatives.


Requirements


  • At least 5 years of experience in a pricing or similar role.
  • Strong experience in a SaaS B2B environment.
  • Degree in Economics, Finance, or Engineering, with an MBA preferred.
  • A strong desire to take initiative and drive results.
  • Endless curiosity, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize diverse opinions and sources of information.
  • Commercially savvy business acumen, common sense, and interpersonal skills to apply expertise in real-world situations.
  • The ability to present ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
  • A mental agility to reconcile conflicting requirements of good governance, compelling commercial offerings, and ease of collaboration.
