About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Revenue Strategist to lead our revenue and growth planning team in Northern Europe. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive revenue growth strategy that drives predictable revenue growth and sustainable long-term market share.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the development of the integrated commercial plan for Diageo NE, combining the needs of brands, channels, customers, and Diageo's short- and long-term market share and financial goals.
  2. Develop and deploy business pricing and promotion strategies, building competitive, share-winning, and revenue-growing pricing and promotional plans that fulfill shopper critical metrics.
  3. Own the RGM M&E framework, creating a deep understanding of the end-to-end value of customer investment and building benchmarks for ongoing optimization.
  4. Collaborate with commercial teams to optimize pricing and trade investment in customer JBPs.
  5. Lead category and brand sprints to define revenue and margin enhancement opportunities around pack, price, promotion, channel, and embed them into commercial plans.
  6. Ensure appropriate governance and controls are in place for all customer investment.
  7. Support the RGM transformation agenda by building business capability, data & systems, tools, and processes to deliver step-changed commercial strategy outcomes.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience working with and leading a team, whether directly or indirectly.
  • Significant relevant commercial and marketing experience.
  • Successful management of senior partners at all levels, resulting in strong and positive outcomes.
  • A track record of leading ground-breaking business results.
  • Problem solver and solution-based partner, who can deal with ambiguity and adapt quickly.
  • Strong end-to-end commercial FMCG understanding, alongside high levels of numerical competence and attention to detail.
