About the Role

Vattenfall is seeking a highly skilled Public and Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team. As a key interface between Vattenfall and political and external stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in shaping the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze political and regulatory themes and issues to assess their potential impact on Vattenfall's business.
  • Develop and execute lobby strategies in close cooperation with the business and other functions to position Vattenfall as a leader in the energy transition.
  • Develop and maintain good relations with political and regulatory stakeholders to ensure Vattenfall's interests are represented.
  • Inform the business and senior management about relevant external developments to ensure they are well-informed and equipped to make strategic decisions.

Your Team

You will be part of a highly dynamic team working on current issues in climate and energy policy with a high degree of autonomy. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior management within Vattenfall and create a network within the Dutch political and regulatory environment.

Requirements

  • University degree in economics, business, political science, or other relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge, experience, and network in the energy market, with a background in government, company, or DSO/TSO.
  • Hands-on and result-driven, with the ability to create, produce, and deliver autonomously within a given framework.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to build trust with different stakeholders and create and maintain a network of relevant stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Dutch, written and spoken, and fluency in English.
