Electrophysiology is an expanding field within Cardiology, introducing numerous innovative technologies and treatment methodologies. The Boston Scientific EP product line includes advanced EP recording and pacing systems, specialized catheters, sophisticated 3D mapping systems, and cryoablation technologies. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a Clinical Specialist in Electrophysiology to enhance our team of Account Managers and Field Clinical Specialists.
The Electrophysiology Clinical Specialist will deliver expert clinical product support and technical training to healthcare professionals, EP Lab personnel, and sales teams regarding the effective and safe application of our systems during procedures within a designated region, ensuring that business objectives are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
Acts as the primary resource for clinical assistance in case coverage, troubleshooting, and system/software development for Boston Scientific EP products. Educates clients and internal staff on the advantages and proper clinical application of our systems through presentations and demonstrations utilizing various formats to keep all informed about the latest advancements. Participates in clinical cases at hospital facilities to provide support and contribute to the development of our systems and components. Offers initial and ongoing training and feedback to development teams and sales representatives regarding our systems, product features, and related procedures. Engages with current and prospective clients to assess their clinical needs and discuss how our products can assist in achieving their objectives. Cultivates relationships with hospital staff through meaningful interactions, meetings, and participation in conferences to identify key decision-makers for future sales opportunities. Addresses customer inquiries and concerns regarding products and services by devising innovative and practical solutions in collaboration with relevant personnel. Maintains advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation technologies and the evolving landscape of the EP market. Each Clinical Specialist may be assigned as an Expert for a specific product line while gaining comprehensive experience across the entire portfolio. This position requires significant travel within the designated region.Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience in Mapping:
2-5 years of independent experience with existing 3D cardiac mapping/EP recording systems or 3-5 years of competitive clinical experience in EP or 6-10 years in a related clinical field. Familiarity with the CRM/EP market is preferred. Excellent communication, advisory, and presentation skills. Ability to comprehend and convey complex technical and clinical information. Proficiency in English. Capacity to adapt swiftly to a dynamic market environment. Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to build relationships across functions. Self-driven and capable of influencing others. Flexible and adaptable, yet focused and determined. Willingness to undertake significant travel as required by workload.What We Offer:
