Job Title: Receptionist (f/m/d)

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team at MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam City West. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for ensuring their stay with us is safe and memorable.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be a great host, ensuring our guests enjoy a safe and memorable stay.
  • You will be in charge of the well-being of our guests from check-in to check-out.
  • You will be the first point of contact for all other visitors, such as suppliers and external technicians.
  • You will respond to our guests' questions and inquiries and know how to direct them to major sights, local attractions, and activities.
  • You will take care of operational and administrative tasks, such as invoicing, answering emails, and online requests, upselling, responding to online reviews, and much more.
  • You will enjoy a diverse, international work environment while we take care of an inclusive one.
  • You will be flexible and understand working on all days of the week, sometimes early, sometimes late, and night shifts, during weekends, and on public holidays comes with the job.
  • You will be a great colleague, not afraid to jump in to support other departments every now and then.

Your Profile:

  • You possess initial experience and are passionate about hospitality.
  • You possess an outgoing personality and enjoy working in a bustling dynamic environment, performing a variety of tasks.
  • You are a people person, you like helping others, and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.
  • You are a team player, ready to help your colleagues and tackle challenges together.
  • You have good knowledge of a front office system (ASSD, Fidelio, SIHOT).
  • You are fluent in English, and any other languages are an advantage.
