Job Description

We are seeking a skilled High-Voltage Line Engineer to join our Transmission & Distribution Technology (TDT) team in Arnhem, the Netherlands.

About the Role

In this challenging and varied position, you will be responsible for delivering specialized consultancy services to clients worldwide. You will work closely with our team of experts to design and develop high-voltage transmission and distribution systems, including overhead lines and substation-related structures.

Your tasks will include:

  • Developing designs and specifications for high-voltage transmission and distribution systems
  • Providing advice on structural and electrical design aspects of overhead lines
  • Preparing specifications and tender documents
  • Collaborating with colleagues on grid-related projects
  • Writing clear and concise reports and commercial offers
  • Discussing project realization and progress with clients

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our 3B, BIM, and SE working methodology.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • Practical knowledge of multiple CAD and 3D tools
  • Solid expertise in tools such as PLS-Cadd and Tower
  • Knowledge of international standards and equipment in the T&D area
  • Excellent English language skills, both oral and written (Dutch is an asset)
  • The willingness to travel abroad (approximately 10% of the time)
  • A strong attitude towards taking responsibility and supervising juniors
  • Curiosity, interest, and engagement
  • An open mindset and the ability to think outside the box
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately €80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus good fringe benefits and a comprehensive training program. We also offer opportunities for professional development and career progression.
