We are seeking a skilled Junior Data / Analytics Engineer to help us onboard new data centers and scale our modern data warehouse, also known as our 'data/analytics factory.'

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboard customers: Collaborate with our team to onboard new data centers and map their data according to our platform's standards, ensuring seamless integration into our analytics system.
  • Data Availability: Ensure continuous data availability for data product consumers by maintaining our data warehouse.
  • Process and model new Data: Utilize tools like Snowflake and dbt to process and model data effectively, turning raw data into actionable insights.
  • Improve existing Data Models: Work on refining and extending our current dimensional data models to enhance data analysis and utility.
Requirements
  • Basic expertise in using SQL for analytical data transformations
  • At least one of the following: experience with Snowflake or Bigquery / Redshift / Synapse, or experience with dbt (data build tools)
  • A proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with the (Azure) cloud
  • Optional: experience with dimensional (kimball) data modelling, or familiarity with Python.
